Dr. Ramón Gómez Meda

Dr. Ramón Gómez Meda

Dr. Ramón Gómez Meda obtained his Degree in Dentistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1996 with the best marks. As a result, he obtained the Thesis Award of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for Academic Excellence and a Grant from the College of Dentists of Cordoba to the best Academic record among the Spanish Dental Schools. Master of Occlusion and Temporo-mandibular Dysfunction (Valencia, 98). Postgraduate training in Orthodontics with Prof. David Suarez Quintanilla in the University of Santiago de Compostela (98-99). He graduated in Periodontics and Implantology (Madrid 99-00) and completed his studies with clinical stays in colleges, hospitals and clinics in Europe and America. Ex-partner of the departments of Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics and Surgery at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He maintains a private practice in Ponferrada (León) since 2001. He is an active member of several scientific societies: SEPA (Spanish Association for Periodontology and Osseointegration), SEPES (Spanish Association for Dental Prosthestics), SEI (Spanish Implants Association), being a frequent speaker for SEPES in the field of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation. He has published more than 30 articles about hard and soft tissue grafting techniques as well as multidisciplinary treatments. Lately he has been lecturing very intensively internationally on Periodontics, Implantology and Aesthetic Multidisciplinary treatments for universities, study groups, professional societies. In the present he is a lecturer for the Continuing Education Committee of the General Dental Spanish Council since 2011 and visiting lecturer on periodontics and esthetic dentistry in different post-graduate programs.

Dr. Abdelsalam Elaskary

Dr. Abdelsalam Elaskary

Dr. Abdelsalam Elaskary is the founder of the vestibular socket therapy treatment protocol (VST), the owner of the Elaskary & Associates clinic and educational institute located in Alexandria, Egypt, he is currently a visiting lecturer at University of New York (NYU), and the President of the Arab Society of Oral Implantology in Cairo. He authored three textbooks in the field of Dental Implantology and Oral Reconstruction, Reconstructive Aesthetic Implant Surgery & Fundamentals of Aesthetic Implant Dentistry and Advances in Esthetic Implant Dentistry; all published by John Wiley and translated into several languages. He also authored numerous articles in the field of implant dentistry.

Dr. Robert Stanley

Dr. Robert Stanley

Dr. Robert Stanley’s professional career began as a Mechanical & Aerospace engineer, providing him with a unique ability to master and share his understanding of biomechanics as it applies to dental implants. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, he is now known as The Smile Engineer and practices with his wife Bobbi Stanley in Cary, North Carolina.

Dr. Stanley has extensive experience in implant surgery, advanced bone and soft tissue grafting. His implementation of CBCT technology with guided dental implant surgery and guided sinus lift surgery makes planning and placing dental implants predictable and successful.

Dr. Stanley is co-founder of the Stanley Institute which provides numerous training courses on grafting and implant placement. He uses his unique background in engineering and dentistry to help dentists painlessly master 3 key components of implantology: planning, placement, and prosthetics.
