Dr. Abdelsalam Elaskary is the founder of the vestibular socket therapy treatment protocol (VST), the owner of the Elaskary & Associates clinic and educational institute located in Alexandria, Egypt, he is currently a visiting lecturer at University of New York NYU, and the President of the Arab Society of Oral Implantology in Cairo. He authored three textbooks in the field of Dental Implantology and Oral Reconstruction, Reconstructive Aesthetic Implant Surgery & Fundamentals of Aesthetic Implant Dentistry and Advances in Esthetic Implant Dentistry; all published by John Wiley and translated into several languages. He also authored numerous articles in the field of implant dentistry.
El Dr. Ramón Gómez Meda se licenció en Odontología por la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela en 1996. Como resultado, obtuvo el Premio de Tesis de la Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia a la Excelencia Académica y una Beca del Colegio de Odontólogos de Córdoba al mejor expediente académico entre las Escuelas de Odontología españolas. Máster en Oclusión y Disfunción Temporo-Mandibular (Valencia, 98).
En la actualidad es profesor del Comité de Formación Continuada del Consejo General de Odontología de España desde 2011 y profesor invitado de periodoncia y odontología estética en diferentes programas de postgrado.
Dr. Martijn Moolenaar graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 1999, followed by a postgraduate private training in Restorative Dentistry at the Dental Center in Hoofddorp. He specialized both in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and Implantology.
Dr. Moolenaar is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy for Fixed Prosthodontics and the international interdisciplinary study group that deals with the latest developments in the field of aesthetic dentistry and implantology. He was also a member of the board for the Dutch Association for Restorative Dentistry for 10 years.
Dr. Moolenaar has lectured nationally and internationally on restorative dentistry and implantology and maintains a private practice in Blaricum, The Netherlands.
Dr. Alain Romanos is an Assistant Professor at the postdoctoral program of Periodontology at the Lebanese University and also serves as Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, United States. Dr. Romanos received his DMD from the Free University of Brussels, his certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, certificate in Periodontics and Masters in Science from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. Romanos is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology.
He is Director of the Periodontics course at the Dental College and Lounge Dental Educational Center, a continuing educational center in Lebanon and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the Lebanese Dental Association and the Lebanese Periodontal Society where he occupied a position of General Secretary.
Dr. Romanos loves teaching and lecturing, he gave more than 120 seminars and courses on soft tissue, periodontics & Implant surgery nationally and internationally.
He is the Founder & Director of Lounge Dental Clinic, private practice limited to Periodontics, Esthetics & Implant surgery in Antelias and downtown Beirut.
Paul Swanson qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2000. He completed his MFGDP qualification in 2003 and a Post Graduate Certificate in Conscious sedation in 2004. In 2008, he received the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Advanced Certificate in Bone Grafting. In 2011, he received a Master of Science degree in Implant Dentistry from Queen Mary University of London. Over the last 10 years, the volume and complexity of cases has naturally increased. Paul's clinical practice is now limited to Implant Dentistry. He owns a specialist referral practice in Liverpool and contributes to the multidisciplinary cases done by his team. He mentors dentists at both entry level and advanced implantology and contributes to study clubs in his region. Paul is the co-director of IDEAL - an organisation running dental courses for all members of the dental team.
